Sevenstar proudly sponsors the Ocean Racing Days
Sevenstar Yacht Transport is thrilled to sponsor the second edition of the Offshore Racing Days, hosted by the prestigious Yacht Club de France. This exciting two-day event, taking place on Saturday, December 14, and Sunday, December 15, at the Musée National de la Marine in Paris, celebrates 40 years of ocean racing and the passion for life at sea.
A celebration of innovation, adventure, and tradition
Sailors, enthusiasts, and industry leaders will gather to honor the remarkable achievements in offshore racing, innovation, and yachting culture. The program includes four engaging conferences led by icons of the sport and design: • VPLP Design will share their 40-year journey of innovation in naval architecture. • IRC Rating System celebrates 40 years of uniting diverse yachts on the racecourse. • A fresh look at what defines a classic yacht in 2024 and how their authenticity endures. • Insights into the next chapter of the French adventure in the America’s Cup, featuring the Orient Express Racing Team.
This event not only celebrates the rich history of ocean racing but also looks ahead to its vibrant future. Sevenstar Yacht Transport is honored to stand alongside the Yacht Club de France in championing innovation, tradition, and the spirit of adventure.
Recognizing excellence: The Sevenstar Trophy
The Sevenstar Trophy, awarded to the ocean racer who has particularly shone on the amateur offshore racing circuit, will be presented during the Night of Ocean Racing at the prestigious Aeroclub de France on Saturday, December 14.
The event will also feature other prestigious award ceremonies. After a 20-year hiatus, the 55th Coupe de France returned with a thrilling competition in 12mJI class yachts. The Danish-crewed VIM, designed by Olin Stephens in 1939, emerged victorious. Attendees will learn about the exciting plans for the 56th edition in 2025.
Additionally, the coveted Trophée Taittinger, celebrating standout sailors from 2024, will be awarded to the Orient Express Racing Team (Quentin Delapierre and Stephan Kandler).
